MISSION

The mission of Environmental Toxicology Laboratory is the further scientific advancement of the Tetramitus Assay as well as the promotion and commercialization of the test. With the data collected from the test, ETL will create a national database of water quality on which epidemiological studies can be based. ETL, as part of its mission, will continue to work closely with nonprofit and educational organizations. ETL is an ardent supporter of "Green Business" as well as the preservation of our natural environment and will continue to operate its business based on these principles.

COMPANY PROFILE

Environmental Toxicology Laboratory, LLC, is a startup biotechnology company, specializing in a new generation of cellular toxicity testing. The company was incorporated in the state of New York in 1990 and was reorganized as a Limited Liability Company in 1998. The company is privately held. The Director of Environmental Toxicology Laboratory, the developer and patent holder for the Tetramitus Assay and the majority owner of the company is Dr. Robert Jaffe. Dr. Jaffe received his undergraduate education at Cornell University and at C.W. Post College, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, in Biology in 1959. Dr. Jaffe received his Ph.D. in Biology from The University of Rochester, in 1966. This was followed by a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, in developmental biology, at Brandeis University. Environmental Toxicology Laboratory , since its incorporation, has concentrated its efforts entirely on the research and development of the Tetramitus Assay. In our next phase of corporate development, we will vigorously promote the Tetramitus Assay and continue working with the scientific and environmental communities, as well as regulatory agencies, to open markets for this important new technology.
